Equity Research and Innovation Center at Yale School of Medicine
In November of 2013, Ms. Robinson joined ERIC – Equity Research and Innovation Center at the Yale School of Medicine as a Senior Advisor charged with assisting in the development and formal launch of the Center in early 2014.
Between 1985 and 2002, Ms. Robinson provided investment banking services as a Vice President with William E. Simon & Sons Municipal Securities, Inc., Van Kampen Merritt, a then subsidiary of Xerox Financial Services, and PHN Capital Funding of Atlanta, Georgia. During her tenure with Van Kampen Merritt, Ms. Robinson was instrumental in the development of the firm’s National Health Care Finance Division.
Currently Ms. Robinson is founding principal and CEO of The Kinnamon Group, Inc., a diversified financial services company providing Loss Mitigation and Risk Management services, headquartered in Philadelphia, PA and established in 1989.
For a decade prior to entering the investment banking field, Ms. Robinson held a variety of senior public policy positions in health care, housing and public administration.
Ms. Robinson held a senior administrative position with Congressman James J. Florio of the 1st District of New Jersey during the 99th Congress. During the 98th Congress, Ms. Robinson served as legislative staff to the late United States Senator John Heinz of Pennsylvania on both the U.S. Senate Finance and Banking Committees. She also served as Chief of Staff to the Mayor, and Deputy Director of Housing and Community Development for the City of Camden, New Jersey.
Ms. Robinson holds an undergraduate degree in Education (1975) and a graduate degree in Public Administration (Finance) (1978) from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.
